Alrenogest

Suppress estrus for synchronization. Suppression of estrus allows for a predictable occurrence of estrus following drug withdrawal. This facilitates the attainment of regular cyclicity during the transition from winter anestrus to the physiological breeding season. Suppression of estrus will also facilitate management of prolonged estrus conditions. Suppression of estrus may be used to facilitate scheduled breeding during the physiological breeding season.

Misoprostol

Misoprostol may be useful as primary or adjunctive therapy in treating or preventing GI adverse effects (anorexia, vomiting) or gastro-duodenal ulceration, especially when caused or aggravated by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). While it can be used for treating gastric ulcers, other drugs are probably just as effective and less expensive. It does not appear to be very effective in reducing gastric ulceration secondary to high-dose corticosteroid therapy.  Misoprostol’s effects on uterine contractility and cervical softening/opening make it effective as an adjunctive treatment in pregnancy termination
