Metronidazole Benzoate is an antibiotic and antiprotozoal agent. Commonly prescribed to small animals diagnosed with infections caused by giardia, entamoeba, trichomonas, and Balantidium. It may be prescribed for susceptible infections, especially those caused by anaerobic bacteria.
