Tacrolimus ointment may be beneficial in veterinary patients as a sole or adjunctive treatment of atopic dermatitis, discoid lupus erythematosus, pemphigus erythematosus or foliaceous, pinnal vascular disease, alopecia areata, vitiligo, dermal arteritis of the nasal philtrum, perianal fistulas (adjunctive or maintenance treatment after cyclosporin therapy), sterile canine panniculitis, and feline proliferative and necrotizing otitis externa. - Plumb's Resource
